What we DO

New sockets / switches / lights

Installing additional sockets, switches and lights will give your home the functionality that you need, and, if required can be chased directly into a wall, leaving a neat look. You can even reduce the need for yet more sockets by adding sockets with USB sockets attached, reducing the need to plug in charges for items such as phones, kindles, and other devices.

Adding extra sockets and switches may also be necessary for your kitchen. Many older homes were designed when we used fewer kitchen appliances than we do today, so you may find that you are constantly having to unplug things like your toaster or kettle to make way for electric mixing bowls or even your microwave.

It’s simple and easy for an electrician to install new electric sockets to your home, and our friendly, expert electricians will work with you to ensure that the job is done with minimum fuss and disruption.

Rewire

Whether you’re buying a new property or renovating your home, you’ll eventually need to check the age and quality of the wiring to the sockets and switches.

Rewiring a property can often be seen as a daunting process. However, at Wired Electrical, our electricians are highly trained and skilled to handle every part of the electrical rewiring process.

We will work with you through every step of the process to ensure the design is correct and that you’re happy before work even begins. Once work starts, we install high-quality products to a professional standard in a timely manner.

When you hire Wired Electrical, you can be confident that the job will be done right.

EICRs/Landlord Safety Reports

An electrical installation condition report (EICR), or periodic inspection report as they used to be called are often referred to by customers as a Landlord Safety Test or Homebuyers Test.

Do I need an Electrical Condition Report? The simple answer is yes, whether it’s your home, a business, or a property you rent out, your electrical installation should always be covered by an in date Electrical Condition Report. Although it’s not a legal requirement to have an Electrical Condition Report many legal documents refer to an Electrical Condition Report as a way of satisfying their requirements- The Electricity at Work Act as one example.

Our team pride ourselves on carrying out efficient, low hassle landlord safety reports for both Domestic and Commercial buildings.
